Why is vuze queuing everything

Hi, so I'm pretty new to downloading with torrent clients and stuff, Vuze is my first, and I'd appreciate any sort of help I can get, as I'm quiet frustrated for days. So let's get started. I mean on my first day when I put up the download it was working perfectly, fast with my normal download speed and it would finish in a few hours.

But after I shut my PC down and turned it back on the next day, I found out that my download was stuck and won't budge at all, heck I waited around 5 hours and still no luck. I found out that I wasn't connected to any peers. I still don't know what seeds and peers are etc. Anyway, i've been recently poking around with download limits, and I also saw some other topics on this forum, but all of them make no sense to me as i'm very new.

Also I saw another thing that my download is queued, but is showing a yellow smiley face, and saying that I might be facing a NAT problem, now I don't know what that is I saw another topic on it, but no luck as I couldn't understand. Then after a few minutes another red smiley showed up and was telling me I wasn't connected to any peers, as I noted earlier. I have no clue what is causing this, why this is happening etc. I'd like help from all you experts as I'm pretty frustrated from the past few days and I've been waiting sick.

Any help would be more than appriciated. Thanks alot. Just to make the situation more clear, I've attached some screenshots, hope you can help. Essentially, I updated Vuze a few days or so ago, I set it up with the tests and then the recommended settings. The torrents had been working but they began slowing and then today stopped. Earlier today, I seemed to be firewalled. I am using a VPN. I picked apart how to find a port number to forward that the VPN told me to use, after putting that in the outgoing and incoming places in Vuze, I now have a green dot for the NAT indicator at the bottom and from one to three smileys on the upload side of things, but I can't download any of the torrents I'm waiting for unless I select force download.

I am using Little Snitch and checked it for any hold ups, Vuze is cleared for all connections. I can also see in its indicator window of the traffic that my computer is sending out via Vuze, but very little, if any, is coming in ever. The Force Download is really slow, about 4. The rest are all still marked Queued.

I'm not really sure where the culprit even is, but I don't seem to be able to upload much and close to nothing coming in. The only thing I'm sure of is that the problem is definitely on my end.

I'm on a mac did check the system firewall, Vuze is cleared to go through running Grateful for any help anyone can give. The average swarm speed that you are seeing is for all clients, including those that aren't using a VPN most of them possibly. It has been so long since I have messed with any of that stuff and I have messed around with it extensively that I can not be more specific but I think any of that stuff might be causing a problem.

Read over that stuff and see if any of it looks wrong. Keep in mind it could be multiple settings. Good Luck! LordDrago Fresh Torrenter. Posts: 1 Threads: 0 Joined: Oct Reputation: 0.

I think my issue falls in with this one, as a similar issue. Not that I don't want to seed, but my ISP is against any kind of seeding, as the last time I tried to seed a download, I got several warnings from them. Any help with this, would be greatly appreciated. First off you get warnings through your ISP not from them. The anti-file sharing folks send you the warning via your ISP. They are not originated from your ISP. I do not think there is a way to complete stop seeding.

In the lower right hand corner of your Vuze window you will see a blue arrow followed by a number. That number is your current upload speed. Right click on that number and choose Manual.
